Experience behind IQ256
My background includes games and applied AI products. The company and product examples below come from my earlier work.
I have spent more than twenty years building software, products and companies. That includes ten published games, three years at Realtime Worlds in Scotland, and founder and CTO roles where I was responsible for both ambitious ideas and the less glamorous work required to make them real.
I founded Outlander Studios and led Battle Towers from its first playable version through international release and post-launch support. The game reached more than seven million players across mobile and PC. That experience taught me that a good idea is only the beginning. Product judgment, execution, distribution and hundreds of small decisions determine whether it survives contact with the market.
At Perfection42, I helped build and lead a multidisciplinary team of around fifteen people working across applied AI, computer vision, generative systems and production tools. There, we built a node-based hybrid-cloud AI platform used in commercial work for Vinted Go. One 3D generation system reduced work that could take around two days to roughly two minutes and produced about one thousand commercial levels, most usable on the first generation. Our other work included video denoising, upscaling, neural style transfer and image transformation. One style-transfer system was used by an Academy Award-winning film studio under NDA.
Current work
My current focus is Fusion AI and its practical use in business research and reviews. I have experimented with multi-model systems for years. In selected internal tests they produced stronger answers than a single leading model, but not universally. Those internal observations do not establish a general performance advantage. IQ256 is designed to use more intelligence only when it adds value. I design the method and the AI workflows.
I am also writing Both, a science-fiction novel developed through strong human direction and contributions from multiple AI systems. It is a very different product, but it explores the same question: how can machines expand human capability without replacing human taste, judgment or responsibility?
