WORKING DEMONSTRATION

A Python tool checks a supplier CSV against agreed rules before import. Fictional assignment; actual locally tested code. No customer engagement or human review is claimed.

Assignment: Check a supplier CSV against agreed rules before import, keep the original unchanged, and separate records that need attention.

Delivered: A Python tool, example outputs, a test suite and handover instructions.

Recorded sample result: 6 records checked; 2 accepted; 4 rejected with reasons.

One example: A delivery date of 30 February is rejected as an invalid date. Duplicate record IDs and quantities outside the agreed rules are also flagged.

The tool performs only the checks described in its brief. It does not repair data, connect to a production system or make the import decision.

Local Python 3.10+ example, executed on Linux. Windows is implemented but was not exercised in the recorded run; macOS is not supported. Platform limits are described in the README.
